Caunce O'Hara has become the official shirt sponsor of Sale FC, the historic amateur rugby club established in 1861 which was reborn when the Sharks vacated Heywood Rd.

Following promotion in 3 successive seasons Sale FC currently ply their trade in the South Lancashire & Cheshire Division 1 and finished the 2006/7 season in a very creditable 4th position.

Saturday 4th November 2006 was the first game in which the COH Brand adorned the legendary Blue & White Hoops and was marked with an on pitch presentation of a shirt to John Batty and Simon Carlon of Caunce O'Hara.

John Batty (Broking Director) said "This is a very proud moment for Caunce O'Hara, seeing our brand on the same jerseys worn in the past by legends such as Eric Evans, Fran Cotton, Bill Beaumont, Steve Smith and Dewi Morris epitomises the foundation of talent that both Sale FC and Caunce O'Hara were both built upon.

"We hope in some small way this partnership will help the club to further develop and we will be looking to bring corporate clientele along to see Sale FC regain their rightful place at the top of English Amateur Rugby."
